History
Over a decade ago there was no pavement in the tunnel - school children had to run through at the same time as cars! The raised platform inside the tunnel, made possible by the council and local parish council, was a valued improvement to that. However, now the route is much more popular and with more cars on the road, further safety measures are needed.
